In tourism on the North Sea coast, the season decides. A website for hosts, holiday lets or leisure operators has to load as fast in high season as it does in November, with many times the visitors. We build sites like that with TYPO3 v14 or WordPress, host them on our own servers in Germany and size the technology for the peak rather than the average.
The fishing industry trades in goods that cannot wait. Its processes have correspondingly little patience with shaky technology: orders have to arrive in the inventory system, prices have to be right, interfaces must not stall overnight.
