01 Starting point
Swings and play equipment do not sell on price comparison alone. Buyers first work out how much space they need, how large the fall zone is, how the thing is assembled and what age it is approved for. If those details are missing from the shop, the sale is abandoned or turns up later as a question in the inbox.
Then there is the logistics. Bulky goods travel by freight forwarder, not by parcel service, with their own costs, delivery windows and conditions for unloading. A standard shop without adapted shipping logic either makes promises it cannot keep or loses baskets shortly before checkout.
02 Solution
The shop runs on WordPress with WooCommerce. Products are set up as variable articles, so dimensions, timber, accessories and equipment levels are handled through variants rather than duplicate products. Price, stock and delivery time hang on the variant, not on the catalogue text.
Shipping costs follow their own rules for freight goods: zones, weight and volume classes, plus separate notes on delivery. The conditions appear on the product and in the basket, not only in the last step of the checkout.
Product pages are built with Elementor as a repeating grid: technical data, space required, assembly notes, image sequence. Operation, updates and backups run on our own servers in Germany, including caching for category and search pages.
03 Result
Questions that would otherwise come in by phone or email are answered on the product page. Customers order with a clear idea of dimensions, assembly and delivery, which typically cuts queries and returns from mistaken purchases considerably.
The range can be extended seasonally without touching the shop structure. New models inherit the variant and shipping logic the moment they are created.
